Oh sweet Lordy...Cage is Super HOT!!! We did not get to know him as well as Sera in the first 2 books but getting inside this man's head was an experience! He is ridiculously hot and loves with all his heart. WHAT is NOT to love??!!!I fell in love with this series from the very first chapter of Falling Down. Anne Mercier has an amazing ability that enables you to suspend reality and dive headfirst into a story without needing to come up for air. And really, I never wanted to come up for air. Each book proves just how talented this amazing lady is and why she will continue to be successful.
If you have not read any of Anne's books, I suggest you download Falling Down, like NOW, don't wait, just do it!
If you have read Falling Down and Blush, then you don't need me to tell you what an AMAZING book Amplify is! Can't wait for April!

I really enjoyed this book. I read the first two and was so surprised when this book of the series was so different. But, this book should not be compared to them.
As I refuse to have in my review any spoilers, this review will be short and sweet
BUY ALL THREE OF THE SERIES AND READ THEM IN ORDER. THEY ARE GREAT BOOKS AND I AM SURE YOU WILL ENJOY EVERY ONE OF THEM.
They are each a different book so they are not duplicates of each other. Book 3 is the most different of them. But I can't say that I like more than the other.
I am anxious for the next book in this series. It couldn't come soon enough for me.
ANNE MERCIER IS AN EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING, TALENTED AUTHOR.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THE SERIES.

Just finished this book and and I am in rock star heaven again. I always knew that Cage and Sera had more going on than just friends, but this book gets down and dirty with their relationship. CAGE is mysterious and smoldering hot at the same time. He is one man under Giovanni and this makes him very dangerous and deadly. Sera was some what immature at the start of the book and she got on my nerves the way she treated Cage. Whenever Sera didn't want to face a problem with Cage she would run off and hide out from him. When Cage was at his limit with her running off, his inner caveman came out and he went to find her. OMG the situation hit the fan then when he found her. This part of the book had me laughing and crying at the same time. Cage is so in love with Sera and he does something for her that just had me melting. Once they got past this fiasco and I thought things were going fine, that crazy b...tch Carina starts her mess again. At this point Giovanni and Cage know that they have to do something with Carina. Carina is so stupid to be messing with these two heads of a mafia family. I always love the antics that the rest of the characters play in each book. Xander is such a mess and has no filter on his mouth, love him. Cannot wait for next book in series, love this author's books.
I gather we are only cracking the surface. Even though there are a sh- boatload of characters they are easy to follow. They each have distinct personalities which makes it so easy to follow the story. The first two books focused on Lucy and Jesse. This book is about Sera and Cage. The subplot bothered me in the first book because it took a while to sort out who was whom.
It's a Rockstar fairytale which means the suspension of disbelief worked overtime to keep my eyes from rolling out of my head. I like the fact that they did the reverse career changes so the Oscar-winning actress becomes a rock star unlike Jerad Leto, the rock star who won an Oscar. That almost didn't work for me but because the story focused on the romance it became secondary to the point where I did accept it..
In this book the subplot moves front and center, which made for a shift away from the Rockstar fairytale. I wish they would have kept that a bit more on the surface. There were a few things that happened off the page of the story, mentioned but never seen, that bothered me. Any details would create spoilers. Let's just say there are holes in the story that I don't believe can be filled moving forward.
I must admit there was a character shift that should have put me off the person but surprisingly gave me a sense of satisfaction rarely achieved in other stories.
I highly recommend this book.
I love this series more with every book! I really did not think I could love a couple more than Lucy and Jesse, but holy hotness, did I love Sera and Cage! Cage was awesome in Falling Down and Blush, but he was businessman Cage, keeping the members of the bands on track and handling all the details. But in Amplify, we get to see the real Cage, and wow...just wow. I am totally in love with him now. This series has been a fun and light read for me, but with Amplify, Anne Mercier kicks it up a notch, and she gives a more in-depth look at la famiglia, and that adds a whole new dimension to the series. It is refreshing to read about strong and powerful women. And I mean they are physically strong. They have their vulnerable sides that they show to their men behind closed doors, but Lucy and Sera can kick some serious a**. I love all the members of the bands and how they have become family. And I love how Anne is going to keep writing this series, giving each character their own story. Yes; it is a series. But it isn't so wrapped up in two main characters that you have to keep reading in order to find out what happens. However, you will want to do just that! I also love that Lucy and Jesse were still featured prominently in this book. Many times when a series installment moves on to the friend of the main character, they barely mention the original couple. I think as the series progresses, all characters will continue to be an integral part of the stories. I am really looking forward to the next book when the bands go back out on tour. I'm glad Anne is not leading us away from the original premise of the rock bands.
